Our Providers
Dr. Xian Zhang, MD, PhD, FAPA, was honored as a fellow in APA, reflecting her dedication and contribution to the field of psychiatry. She earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin and completed a postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. She served as chief resident during her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC, and as chief fellow during her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Dr. Zhang believes in an integrated biomedical, psychological, and social approach in understanding and treating individual patients. She specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with co-existing complex problems, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, disruptive and oppositional behaviors, and psychosis.
